We are a drumming group inspired by Samba Batucada and other awesome beats, with a horn section giving us that banging party vibe. Our aim is to get you moving!
About Us
Batucada Funk started in December 2016 with only 4 people in a small room of a dance studio. This began our love for drumming, samba, performing and dancing!
Based in the Inner west with now 20+ members, Batucada Funk has moved to Stage door studios in Alexandria.
We have a combination of experienced and beginner drummers and horn players, from all ages and backgrounds. Join us on Fridays for training or hire us to liven up your next event!
